ANN ARBOR, Michigan April 2, 2010 – Paragon Display Group, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, has announced an operating agreement with Alternative Revenue Development (ARD) of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, to supply design and high-resolution graphics for a program that creates an alternative revenue stream for high schools in the state. The program, known as B.U.S. (Business United with Schools), pairs school districts with local, regional, and national sponsors through on-campus signage at high school auditoriums, media centers, natatoriums, gyms, theaters, and baseball and football stadiums. According to Bill Van Cleve, Paragon Display owner, “This on-campus signage maintains the integrity of the school while allowing the school to generate a revenue stream that helps replace funds lost to state cutbacks. We’re proud to be of help in maintaining programs that might otherwise have been cut. This is a total win-win situation. It’s going over like gangbusters here in southeast Michigan, and we’ll be expanding it to 25 to 40 targeted districts in the fall.” As part of their Downriver Early Adopter Program, ARD has signed up the Trenton, Woodhaven-Brownstown, Southgate, and Wyandotte school districts. Signage for the Trenton high school will be installed April 12-13. Sponsors such as McDonald’s, Target, and local car dealers have already signed up as sponsors. “The decorative graphics boost school spirit at the same time they offer a commercial message for the sponsors,” said Sara Clevenger, Senior Account Manager at Paragon. “The ad spaces are small and tastefully designed, with most of the space devoted to the school graphic. We use state-of-the-art design and materials.” Paragon will provide site surveys, design, production and installation of the signage for ARD. With over 25 years of experience, Paragon Display Group provides large format graphics, custom displays, and tradeshow displays for industrial and retail clients across the country. They can be reached at 734-665-3686 or online at www.paragondisplay.com.
